This cute little Panda is a resident of the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC. THe panda is from central China. It is considered to be a vulnerable species, since there are only 1864 pandas living in their native habitat. The Pandas are carnivores. Their main diet is bamboo. They have large molars and strong jaw muscles to aid them in eating their favorite food.
