Artist's Description
TREASURE ISLAND was taken during the autumn months at French Creek State Park in Warwick Township, Chester County, Pa. The park is 7,526 acres in size. In 1771, the vastly wooded area was the home of the American chestnut. The trees were cleared to make charcoal to feed the iron furnace, Hopewell. The forest were regrown for 25 years then cleared. About Judy Wolinsky
My photographic prints reflect the way I see the world. From an abandoned building to a funny little praying mantis, I see the challenge of capturing the essence of my subject. I live in Thornton, Pennsylvania with my husband. Currently retired from my full time job as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. My favorite pastimes are photography, gardening and reading. I have been into photography since a very...
